John O’Donnell

John O’Donnell has worked at Royal Melbourne Hospital, (1988 to 2003) Director of Shoulder Surgery, and Director of Arthroscopy/Sports Medicine.

He is currently working in private practice at Mercy Private Hospital in Melbourne, where he is Chairman of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.

His practice consists primarily of Hip Arthroscopy (approximately 500 per year) and Arthroplasty, as well as Shoulder Surgery. In collaboration with Bruce Mitchell, et. al. John has published results of investigations and arthroscopic treatment of hip pain, and with Daniel Saddick, has published in the Radiology literature re normal MRI and arthroscopy findings.
