Per Hölmich is the Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Copenhagen.
He is also Chief Surgeon at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Amager and Hvidovre University Hospital in Denmark. The Center is dedicated to arthroscopic surgery and sports orthopaedics. He specialises in arthroscopic surgery and his main research areas are hip and groin problems, overuse injuries, adolescent sports injuries and hamstring injuries.
Per is the Head of the Arthroscopic Center Hvidovre & Sports Orthopedic Research Center – Copenhagen (SORC-C) and the Strategic Lead of Sports Groin Pain Center at Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar, where the current research focus is Groin, Hamstring, and Patello-femoral injuries, Prevention and Arthroscopic hip surgery.
